About The Natural Deodorant

The Natural Deodorant was founded by Naomi Patton more than 15 years ago, with a simple goal: to create a natural deodorant that really worked.

Frustrated by conventional deodorants filled with unnecessary chemicals, Naomi began making her own for family and friends. Word quickly spread, and as more people asked where they could buy them, a small idea grew into The Natural Deodorant.

Today, our products are trusted by loyal customers across Australia and around the world.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our journey. Whether you've been with us from the beginning or are discovering us for the first time, thank you for being part of The Natural Deodorant story.

At The Natural Deodorant, we strive to make simple, natural, every day products for the body.

We aim to make products that are as good for the planet as they are for your skin. We recognise the need for change in what we put in, and on, our bodies by creating quality, handmade products that really work. Our products are gentle on the body and mindful of the ecosystems that support us.

We carefully select the best natural and organic ingredients, sourcing from local Australian businesses wherever possible and supporting Fair Trade suppliers who share our commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.

We believe in producing our products by hand. Every product is made with care on the Mid North Coast of NSW, rather than through mass production, ensuring the highest quality in every batch.

We understand the need for convenience, but not at the expense of the environment.

Rather than choosing the cheapest packaging options, we've made a conscious decision to use recyclable packaging and go plastic free wherever possible. Our labels are printed using vegetable-based inks and non-toxic glues on recycled paper.

Our workshop is powered by solar energy, and we harvest rainwater as part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint

Our Commitment to Sustainable Packaging

All of our packaging is made from easily recyclable materials such as cardboard or paper. Many of these materials can be placed straight into your home compost, where they will naturally decompose and can be returned to your garden.

We avoid plastic bags, tape and unnecessary packaging wherever there is a better alternative.

We believe packaging is just as important as the products inside. Our glass jars and aluminium tins can be reused around the home or recycled through your regular recycling bin.

When we send your order, we only use packaging that is as kind to the environment as possible.

It does cost us a little more, but we believe it's worth the extra effort.

So join us, and together we can help to make our normal... more natural.
